The APC Smart-UPS SMT3000C delivers 3000VA and 2700W of pure sine wave power to protect servers, switches, routers and networking devices. It provides battery backup during outages and guards equipment against harmful power conditions, spikes and surges. The unit includes APC SmartConnect, a cloud monitoring service accessible from any internet-connected device without fees. This service offers proactive advice and life-cycle recommendations for remote infrastructure management.

Sustained Load Behaviour and Efficiency

Automatic green mode operates the UPS at the highest levels of efficiency during continuous operation. Intelligent battery management uses temperature-compensated charging to extend battery life while providing real-time monitoring. Automatic Voltage Regulation corrects high and low voltages to safe levels without draining the battery, preserving its lifespan under sustained load. The system also delivers predictive month warnings for battery replacement.

Build Quality and Connectivity

The UPS features a NEMA 5-30P input connection and provides ten output receptacles: eight NEMA 5-15R and two NEMA 5-20R outlets. Six outlets supply both battery backup and surge protection, while one switchable outlet group allows controlled power cycling of attached devices. The unit operates within a temperature range of 32 to 104 °F (0 to 40 °C). This product is not suited for installations requiring output voltages other than 120V or for environments exceeding the stated operating temperature limits.
