3.5" U.2 NVMe Enclosure

This enclosure mounts a single 2.5" NVME U.2 15mm drive into a standard 3.5" drive bay. A stainless steel carrier with vibration-reducing springs secures the drive and allows tool-free swapping. A metal keylock protects the installed media from unauthorised removal. The backplane connects via MiniSAS HD SFF-8643 and a 15-pin power connector.

Suited for U.2 drive bays, not M.2

Builders adding enterprise U.2 NVMe storage to a 3.5" bay will find the carrier, keylock and Gen3 32Gbps or Gen4 64Gbps support fit the task. The enclosure lacks an active fan and an AC adapter, so systems must supply adequate airflow and 12V/2A plus 3V3/0.5A power. Users needing M.2 form-factor support, multiple drives per bay or hot-plug trays should choose a different adapter.
