Targeted DDR4 upgrade kit

This 16 GB kit contains two 8 GB DDR4 SODIMM modules rated at 2400 MHz with CL17 timing. It is built for HP ProBook 470 G3, 470 G4, 640 G2 and 645 G3 notebooks that accept 260-pin unbuffered non-ECC memory. The kit raises the system to its supported memory ceiling in a single step.

260-pin DDR4 SODIMM form factor

Each stick uses the 260-pin SO-DIMM layout required by the listed ProBook models. The modules run at 1.2 V and carry a 2Rx8 organisation with major-brand chips. Installing a different pin count or voltage would prevent the laptop from booting.

Steady throughput at rated speed

Under sustained workloads the memory maintains its 2400 MHz data rate and 17-17-17 timings without thermal throttling, because the modules have no heat spreader and rely on the notebook’s internal airflow. The unbuffered design keeps latency consistent during long compile, rendering or multitasking sessions.
