16GB DDR4 SODIMM for EliteBook 725/735/745

This 16GB DDR4 2400MHz SO-DIMM is built for HP EliteBook 725 G4, 735 G5, 735 G6, 745 G4, 745 G5 and 745 G6 notebooks. It runs at 1.2V with CL17 latency and uses a standard 260-pin layout. The module is unbuffered, non-ECC and organised as 2Rx8.

Upgrade from 4GB or 8GB single modules

Replacing a lower-capacity stick with this 16GB module raises the system ceiling toward the 32GB maximum supported across two slots. The jump is most noticeable when moving from a single-channel 8GB configuration to a matched pair, allowing the memory controller to operate in dual-channel mode. If the processor or existing memory runs slower than 2400MHz, the new stick will downclock to match the slowest component.

Check slot count and OS before ordering

Verify the notebook has a free SO-DIMM socket; the supported models provide two slots in total. A 64-bit operating system is required to address more than 4GB of memory. Mixing this module with existing RAM of a different speed or latency will force all modules to run at the lowest common settings.
