Verify Rank Limits and Channel Population

The DL360 G7 supports up to 384GB across eighteen sockets using dual-rank RDIMMs, but quad-rank modules force the third bank to stay empty and drop speeds to 800MHz in the second bank. Mixing registered and unbuffered ECC is not supported. Confirm your Xeon model and current DIMM layout before ordering to avoid automatic down-clocking to 1066MHz or 800MHz.
