16GB DDR4 kit for ASRock Z490 and server boards

This 16GB kit contains two 8GB DDR4 DIMMs rated at 2400MHz with CL17 timing. It is built for the ASRock Z490 Taichi, Z490M Pro4, Server 1U2LW-C242 and Server 1U4LW-X470 platforms. The modules are unbuffered, non-ECC and run at 1.2V.

DDR4 2400 speed ceiling and four-slot limit

The memory operates at DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) and all installed modules will run at the speed of the slowest stick or the CPU capability. The supported platforms provide four DIMM sockets with a maximum system capacity of 128GB. A 64-bit operating system is required to address more than 4GB.

Unbuffered DIMMs without heat spreaders

Each 288-pin module uses a major brand chipset in a 2Rx8 configuration and has no heat spreader. This low-profile design eases installation in tight server chassis such as the 1U2LW-C242 and 1U4LW-X470. The kit is covered by a limited lifetime warranty from Computer Memory Solutions.
