Purpose-built liquid cooler

The COUGAR Poseidon Vistek Pro ARGB 240 White is an all-in-one liquid cooling system built for current AMD and Intel desktop platforms. It supports AMD AM5, AM4, AM3, AM2, FM2 and FM1 sockets alongside Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115X and LGA1366. A copper cold plate transfers heat from the CPU to a 240 mm aluminium radiator. The unit suits builders who want integrated system monitoring and customisable visuals in a white finish. It does not suit buyers who need a larger radiator or a display smaller than 3.95 inches.

Capacity and headroom

Two 120 mm fans push up to 78.2 CFM across the radiator at speeds between 700 and 2500 RPM, producing a maximum noise level of 38 dB(A). The 3.95-inch IPS TFT LCD runs at 720 x 720 resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate, showing real-time temperatures, loads and custom JPG, PNG, GIF or MP4 content. The 390 mm tubes give routing flexibility inside mid-tower cases. The cooler runs out of headroom when sustained loads exceed what a dual-fan 240 mm loop can dissipate.

Interface and practical limits

The fans connect via a single 4-pin PWM header for speed control and ARGB lighting sync. Monitoring data and display customisation are handled through Windows control software over an internal USB link. The LCD accepts only the listed image and video formats and its 720 x 720 pixel grid. No external video input or network streaming is supported. Builders needing a thicker radiator, longer tubing or a non-proprietary display interface must look elsewhere.
