Blade server for dense compute

The Dell PowerEdge MX760C is a half-width blade server equipped with two Intel Gold 6448Y processors running at 2.1 GHz, each providing 32 cores and 60 MB cache. It comes with 128 GB of DDR4 memory arranged as eight 16 GB PC5-4800 modules. Two 1.92 TB SATA SSDs are installed and managed by an H755 MX RAID controller.

Suits scale-out workloads, not GPU tasks

This blade targets virtualisation clusters, container platforms and memory-intensive databases that benefit from high core counts and fast networking via the Marvell FastLinQ 41262 dual 25 Gb CNA mezzanine. Remote management is handled by iDRAC9 Express. Buyers needing GPU acceleration, Fibre Channel connectivity or more than six 2.5-inch drive bays should evaluate other form factors.

Six 2.5-inch drive bays define capacity

The chassis provides a maximum of six 2.5-inch drive bays, of which two are populated with the supplied 1.92 TB SATA SSDs. Expansion beyond four additional drives requires a different chassis or external storage.
