Half-width blade for dense compute

The Dell PowerEdge MX760C half-width blade installs in a shared chassis and delivers two Intel Gold 6438Y+ processors, each running at 2.0 GHz with 32 cores and 60 MB cache. 512 GB of DDR4 memory is fitted across 16 DIMM modules rated at PC5-4800. Four 1.92 TB SATA SSDs provide the installed storage capacity.

Suits virtualised workloads.

This blade suits organisations consolidating virtual machines or running memory-intensive databases that benefit from the 64 combined cores and half-terabyte RAM. Buyers who need GPU acceleration, additional fabric switch bays or fibre-channel connectivity should look elsewhere because the configuration includes only SATA SSDs, no GPU bays and the fabric C bays are not included.

6 × 2.5″ drive bays with H755 MX controller

The chassis offers six 2.5-inch drive bays, of which four are populated with the 1.92 TB SATA SSDs. The H755 MX RAID controller manages the array and supports the remaining empty bays for future expansion. Remote administration is handled by iDRAC9 Express, and network connectivity uses a Marvell FastLinQ 41262 mezzanine card with two 25 Gb ports.
