It ships with 512 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC memory across 16 modules and a PERC H730P 2 GB controller driving eight 1.2 TB 10K SAS drives. Redundant 750 W platinum power supplies and iDRAC 9 Enterprise management are included.

Compute-dense virtualization and database workloads

The 40 total cores and half-terabyte of memory suit heavy virtualization, in-memory databases and multi-threaded enterprise applications.
