Dual Xeon Gold 6126 processors at 2.6 GHz provide 24 total cores for virtualisation or database workloads. 1.5 TB of DDR4 ECC registered memory is installed across the available slots. A PERC H730P RAID controller manages the SATA backplane.

From smaller arrays to consolidated capacity

The eight-bay layout replaces multiple 1U or 2U units that each hold fewer drives, reducing rack space and cabling. The jump is worth it when you need 10 GbE connectivity via the 562T dual-port adapter and hardware RAID without adding a separate controller. Integrated graphics handle console output so no discrete GPU is required.

Verify rack depth and power before ordering

The chassis measures 36 inches deep, so confirm your cabinet clearance and rail kit compatibility. Dual 750 W supplies are installed; check that your PDU circuits and voltage match the server inlet. No drives ship with the unit, so plan the SATA HDD or SSD quantities you will populate. Remote management uses iDRAC9 Enterprise for out-of-band control.
