Each port runs at the USB 3.0 5.0 Gbps signalling rate, but the single PCIe 2.0 x1 lane caps total bandwidth so simultaneous heavy transfers from multiple devices will share that ceiling. The card relies on a Renesas or VLI controller that requires a driver on Windows 7, while Windows 8, 10, 11, macOS 10.8.2 and Linux load native support.
