Universal Drive Adapter

The FIDECO PL319 connects 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA hard drives or SSDs and 2.5 and 3.5 inch IDE hard drives to a computer through a USB 3.0 port. Optical drives such as DVD-ROM and CD-RW are also supported. It suits anyone recovering data from legacy drives or cloning disks without opening a desktop case.

Included 12V Power Adapter

A 12 volt 3 amp power supply is bundled so that 3.5 inch drives receive adequate current for spin-up. The adapter permits one 2.5 inch IDE, one 3.5 inch IDE and one SATA drive to be attached at the same time, with a maximum supported capacity of 22TB per drive. No extra cables or enclosures are required.

Driver-Free Installation

Windows 10 through XP, Mac OS 9 and 10, and Linux recognise the device immediately on connection. New drives must be initialised in the operating system before they appear. The compact 2.36 by 1.57 by 0.79 inch housing weighs 80 grams and fits in a laptop bag for portable use.
