Installation notes for the 9-bay 2.5-inch chassis

The server arrives with a rail kit and a high-voltage PDU power cord, allowing immediate rack mounting in a 1U space. Nine 2.5-inch hot-swap drive bays are empty, so storage must be provisioned separately before the array can be configured on the P420i controller. Expansion is limited to two slots, which may restrict additional networking or accelerator cards. DDR3 memory upgrades must match the installed technology; other DDR generations are physically incompatible.
