The Intel Xeon 6530P is a 32-core, 64-thread server processor built on the Granite Rapids architecture. It fits the FCLGA 4710 socket and operates at a 2.3 GHz base frequency with a 225 W thermal design power. The chip is intended for dual-socket platforms that need high core density and large memory capacity.

144 MB L3 cache and DDR5-6400 memory controller

The processor provides 144 MB of shared L3 cache and an integrated memory controller rated for DDR5-6400, supporting up to 4 TB of system memory per socket. All-core turbo reaches 3.7 GHz while single-core boost tops out at 4.1 GHz. Workloads that exceed the 4 TB limit or require more than 88 PCIe 5.0 lanes will hit the built-in ceiling.

PCIe 5.0 with 88 lanes and 24 GT/s UPI

The platform exposes 88 lanes of PCI Express 5.0 for high-bandwidth accelerators, storage and networking. Four UPI links running at 24 GT/s connect two sockets in a 2S configuration. Systems that need more than two sockets, more than 88 lanes or a different socket type cannot use this processor.
