KEHIPI 477M 12.3MP Camera Module

The KEHIPI 477M is a 12.3MP camera module built around a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor. It targets Raspberry Pi developers and IoT makers who need high-resolution stills and video for edge-vision projects.

Raspberry Pi CSI integration with M12 lens mount

The board connects directly to the CSI interface on Raspberry Pi 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Zero and Zero 2W and is supported by libcamera. Its compact V2 footprint and interchangeable M12 mount free up enclosure space while allowing lens changes for different fields of view.

Sustained frame rates at 1080p30 and 720p60

The sensor delivers 4056 x 3040 stills and maintains 1080p at 30 fps, 720p at 60 fps, and 640 x 480 at up to 90 fps during extended captures. The 158° diagonal wide-angle lens preserves coverage without thermal throttling in typical embedded workloads.

Vragen over dit artikel

What resolution limit appears first when recording 1080p video continuously?

The module caps 1080p capture at 30 frames per second, so sustained recording cannot exceed that rate.

How much heat or noise does the camera generate during all-day operation?

The board has no fan or moving parts, so it runs silently and produces only minimal warmth from the sensor.

Which Raspberry Pi board and connector does the buyer need to already own?

Any Pi with a standard CSI connector — Pi 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Zero or Zero 2W — and a compatible ribbon cable.
