The KuWfi U35WF is a 3.5 inch aluminium case that connects a SATA hard drive to a computer through USB 3.0 and adds a built-in wireless router with a 1000M RJ45 port. It supports drives up to 4 TB and works with Windows, Linux and Mac OS 8.6 or higher. The enclosure is sold new and intended for users who want both direct wired access and wireless file sharing from a single drive.

Wireless media server and router functions

The integrated Wi-Fi card and Ethernet port let the enclosure act as a wireless access point and a network-attached storage device. It automatically scans all partitions for photos, music and video then builds a classified media library that can be streamed to phones, tablets or computers.
