2.13inch Red/Black/White E-Paper Module

This LORDWORLD development board provides a 2.13inch three-colour e-paper panel with a 212×104 pixel resolution. It connects through a standard SPI interface that uses very few GPIO pins. The display retains its last image without any backlight or continuous power draw. It is aimed at makers building low-power IoT edge devices.

Makers adding persistent signage or sensor readouts

The module suits developers who need an ultra-low-power display that stays visible when the system sleeps. It is not a fit for projects requiring video-rate animation, full-colour graphics or touch interaction. Buyers who want more colours, higher pixel counts or a backlit panel should look at a different technology.

SPI interface with minimal pin count

The board communicates over SPI and needs only a handful of free IO lines on the host controller. This single spec decides whether the module can be wired into your existing design without port expanders or complex routing.

Vragen over dit artikel

What resolution does the 2.13 inch panel provide?

The display shows 212 by 104 pixels in red, black and white, giving a compact three colour image area.

How does the module draw power during normal use?

It uses virtually no power while holding an image and only consumes energy during a screen refresh over the SPI bus.

What connection does the board use and how many pins are needed?

It communicates through a standard SPI interface that requires only a few GPIO lines on a Raspberry Pi Pico.
