What this panel is

The LORDWORLD 64×32 RGB LED matrix panel packs 2048 individually addressable LEDs on a 2.5 mm pitch, giving a 160×80 mm full-colour display with adjustable brightness. It targets makers building desktop signs, wall-mounted clocks or animated art pieces driven by Raspberry Pi, Pico, ESP32 or Arduino boards.

Interface limits

Data enters through one HUB75 header and can exit through a second to chain additional panels, but the protocol is unbuffered and timing-critical; the host must sustain the required scan rate in software, so heavy multitasking on the controller can cause flicker or dropped frames.

Capacity and headroom

At 64×32 pixels the panel shows scrolling text, simple graphics and low-resolution animations comfortably, yet detailed images or video quickly exceed the pixel budget and memory bandwidth of typical microcontroller projects.

Vragen over dit artikel

Should I pick the 64×32 panel or a different pixel count?

This panel is fixed at 64×32 pixels with 2048 RGB LEDs at 2.5 mm pitch; no other resolution is offered for this model.

What does the 2.5 mm pitch mean once the panel is mounted?

A 2.5 mm pitch gives a 160×80 mm active area, so individual LEDs are close enough for smooth text and animation at normal viewing distances.

How does the HUB75 interface limit what I can chain?

Two HUB75 headers provide one data input and one output, letting you daisy-chain multiple panels from a single controller.
