This kit bundles three TEC1-12706 thermoelectric modules rated at 12 V and 6 A alongside matching aluminium heat sinks and 12 V fans. It is aimed at hobbyists building portable coolers, hot-and-cold dispensers or experimental 3D-printer temperature control. The 40 mm square footprint fits compact enclosures and development-board platforms. Each module draws 4.3 to 4.6 A under load with a 15 V maximum and 5.8 A starting surge.

Aluminium Heat Sinks and Fan Mounting

Sixteen screws are provided to secure the three fans to the supplied heat sinks, creating a ready-to-assemble thermal stack. The aluminium spreads heat from the module’s hot side while the fans force airflow across the fins. This screw-together approach suits bench prototypes and permanent installations alike without specialised tools. The 10 mm module thickness keeps the overall stack slim for tight chassis spaces.

Thermals and Power in Normal Use

At the rated 12 V each module operates between 4.3 A and 4.6 A, so a supply capable of at least 15 A continuous is needed for all three running together. The 5.8 A inrush per module at start-up demands a power source that tolerates brief peaks above the steady-state draw. Fan noise and airflow scale with the 12 V input; lowering the voltage reduces both cooling capacity and acoustic output.
