128 GB DDR4-3200 ECC LRDIMM Server Memory
This Micron LRDIMM provides 128 GB of DDR4-3200 registered memory with ECC protection. It is built for dual- or single-socket Intel Xeon servers that require high-capacity modules. The load-reduced design lowers electrical load on the memory bus, allowing large memory footprints per channel.
Suitable For High-Density Xeon Servers.
This module suits administrators scaling virtualisation hosts, in-memory databases or compute clusters on Xeon platforms that support LRDIMM populations. It will not work in desktop or workstation boards that accept only unbuffered non-ECC DIMMs, nor in systems that cannot address 128 GB per slot.
Deciding Specification: 128 GB LRDIMM Form Factor
The single specification that determines fit is the 128 GB load-reduced DIMM form factor. Only motherboards qualified for DDR4 LRDIMM at this density can use the module; standard RDIMM-only or UDIMM-only platforms will not recognise it.
Pluspunten
- 128 GB capacity supports large datasets
- DDR4-3200 speed feeds multi-core Xeon CPUs
- ECC protection corrects single-bit errors automatically
- Load-reduced DIMM lowers electrical load on memory bus
- 16 Gbit density enables high-capacity single modules

Vragen over dit artikel
Does my motherboard need DDR4 LRDIMM slots to use this 128GB module?
Yes, the module is a DDR4-3200 LRDIMM, so the board must provide DDR4 LRDIMM sockets and support the 128GB density per slot.
Can I mix this LRDIMM with standard RDIMMs already installed in my Xeon server?
No, LRDIMMs and RDIMMs use different buffering and cannot be populated together in the same system; all slots must use the same module type.
How do I verify the module runs at 3200 MT/s after installation?
Check the BIOS memory information screen or run a tool such as dmidecode on Linux; both will report the configured speed as 3200 MT/s for each installed module.
