Buyers needing non-ECC or unbuffered DIMMs for desktop boards cannot use this product.

Sustained-load behaviour

Registered buffering and on-die ECC keep data integrity intact during continuous multi-threaded tasks such as database serving or virtualisation hosting. The 1.20V operating voltage and major-brand Samsung, Micron or Hynix chips help maintain stable throughput without thermal throttling under prolonged load. Systems without registered-DIMM support will not post with these modules installed.

DDR4 interface limits

The PC4-25600 rating delivers 3200MT/s across the 288-pin DDR4 bus, which is the peak bandwidth this generation provides. Higher frequencies or lower latencies require a newer memory standard and compatible platform. The 16-module population also demands a motherboard with enough registered-DIMM slots and appropriate memory-controller support.
