512GB DDR4 2933 ECC RDIMM kit

This 512GB kit contains eight 64GB registered DDR4 modules rated at 2933 MT/s with CL21 latency and 1.2V operation. It is built for the Dell Precision 7920 workstation where ECC error correction and registered signalling are required for stability under heavy workloads.

Sustained load behaviour

Each module uses a 4Rx4 organisation with major OEM chips from Samsung, Micron or Hynix that have been stress tested under load. The registered buffer and ECC function maintain data integrity during continuous compute tasks such as rendering, simulation or virtualisation without the soft errors that unbuffered memory can allow.

Installation notes

The 288-pin RDIMM form factor fits the Precision 7920 DIMM slots directly, but the workstation requires all eight slots to be populated in the correct channel order for the 512GB capacity to be recognised. Mixing these registered modules with unbuffered DIMMs or using fewer than eight modules will prevent the system from posting.
