ThinkMate DDR4-3200 ECC RDIMM kit

This 64 GB kit contains two 32 GB registered DDR4 modules rated at 3200 MT/s with CL22 latency. ECC and registered buffering protect data integrity in ThinkMate HDX-QT24 and HDX-QN24 high-density servers. The 1.20 V operating voltage matches standard DDR4 server requirements.

Upgrade path from lower-capacity or non-ECC DIMMs

Replacing unbuffered or smaller registered DIMMs adds error correction and doubles per-slot density to 32 GB. The jump is worth it when workloads demand maximum registered capacity per channel and the platform supports 2Rx8 organisation. Systems limited to single-rank or non-ECC memory cannot use this kit.

Sustained-load behaviour in registered server slots

Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller during continuous operation. ECC corrects single-bit errors in real time without halting the pipeline. Major OEM Samsung, Micron or Hynix DRAM chips are stress-tested under load to maintain stability across extended compute cycles. No heat spreader is fitted; airflow must be provided by the server chassis.
