The Orico enclosure accepts a single 2.5-inch SATA hard drive or solid-state drive up to 9.5 mm thick. It connects to computers, televisions, a PlayStation 5 or a phone through a USB Type-C port. No external power adapter is required for operation.

Up to 6 TB capacity per bay

A single bay supports drives as large as 6 TB, giving ample room for backups, media libraries or game storage. The SATA III interface and UASP protocol keep transfer speeds high for everyday file moves. Performance will taper off with very large sequential workloads that exceed the bus bandwidth.

USB Type-C SATA III with UASP

The external USB Type-C connection runs at SATA III 6 Gbps and supports UASP and TRIM for efficient SSD operation. An automatic sleep mode activates after 10 minutes of inactivity to reduce drive wear. Compatibility covers Windows, Mac OS and Linux without extra drivers.
