SATA SSD enclosure for 2230 to 2280 drives

The Orico M.2 enclosure accepts SATA B-Key and B+M Key SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. It connects through a USB-C port and comes with a USB-A to C cable. The aluminium and plastic case measures 124 by 35 by 14 millimetres and weighs 0.1 kilogram. Maximum supported capacity per bay is 4 terabytes. It is not compatible with PCIe AHCI or NVMe SSDs.

Tool-free tray and driverless setup

A push-cover tray slides out without tools so the SSD can be seated and secured in seconds. The enclosure is driverless and works with plug-and-play on PCs, laptops, smart TVs, routers, PS4 consoles and Type-C phones. An LED shows solid light in standby and flashes during data transfer. After ten minutes of inactivity the device enters auto-sleep. UASP, TRIM and SMART are supported.

Check drive key and host port before buying

This enclosure only works with M.2 SATA B-Key or B+M Key drives; NVMe and PCIe AHCI SSDs will not function. Verify that your SSD carries one of those key types and matches the listed lengths. The host device must provide a USB-C or USB-A port for the included cable. No external power adapter is required or included.
