Server-grade DDR3L ECC RDIMM kit

This 32 GB kit contains two 16 GB DDR3L 1600 CL11 registered DIMMs built for Supermicro SuperServer 8047R, 8048B, F617R2, F617R3 and F627G2 systems. It delivers error-correcting, registered memory for workloads that require data integrity and sustained uptime. The modules operate at 1.35 V and conform to the PC3L-12800 standard. They are not compatible with standard desktop computers or unbuffered memory configurations.

Straightforward 240-pin installation

Each module fits a standard 240-pin DDR3 slot and requires no tools beyond opening the chassis. Because the memory is registered and uses a 2Rx4 organisation, it must be installed in matched pairs and cannot be mixed with unbuffered DIMMs. The most common issue is attempting to use these modules in a consumer motherboard that lacks registered-memory support, which prevents the system from posting. Verify the server model before installation.

32 GB registered capacity for multi-tasking headroom

The 32 GB total (2 x 16 GB) provides ample room for virtualisation, database caching and concurrent application workloads on supported Supermicro platforms. Performance scales with the DDR3L 1600 bus, so memory-bound tasks run within the rated CL11 latency. The limit is reached when the platform’s maximum DIMM count or memory-controller capacity is exceeded, at which point additional modules cannot be addressed.
