Targeted Server Upgrade

This 64GB kit delivers two 32GB DDR4 2666 ECC registered RDIMMs for Synology FlashStation FS3400, FS3410 and FS3600 systems. It replaces the D4RD-2666-32G and D4ER01-32G modules in workstations and NAS devices that require registered memory. Standard desktop computers cannot use these modules.

Registered ECC Functionality

The registered buffer and ECC circuitry correct single-bit errors and reduce electrical load on the memory controller, which is essential for 24/7 server stability. Mixing these DIMMs with unbuffered or load-reduced memory is not supported, so the full kit must populate matched channels. JEDEC and RoHS compliance ensures a warranty-safe upgrade.

288-Pin RDIMM Build

Each module uses a 288-pin DDR4 interface at 1.2V with CL19 timing and 2Rx4 organisation. The kit runs at 2666MHz and is backward compatible with 2133MHz and 2400MHz bus speeds. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow in the chassis must accommodate bare PCBs.
