ECC Registered RDIMM kit for HP ProLiant servers

This 64 GB kit contains four 16 GB DDR3 1333 PC3-10600 CL9 registered DIMMs. It is built for HP ProLiant SL165s G7, SL170s G6, SL335s G7, SL390s G7 and WS460c G6 systems that require ECC registered memory. The modules run at 1.5 V and use a 240-pin form factor. Standard desktop computers cannot use this memory.

JEDEC and RoHS compliant modules

Each module meets JEDEC specifications and is RoHS compliant, so the upgrade keeps the original system warranty intact. The registered design adds a buffer that reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing higher capacities in supported servers. Mixing these registered DIMMs with unbuffered memory is not supported and will prevent the system from booting.

Simple DIMM installation with seating checks

Installation follows the normal DIMM slot procedure: align the notch, press firmly until the retention clips click, and verify the module sits evenly. The most common issue is incomplete seating, which causes the server to report memory errors or fail POST.
