Compact 1U rackmount NAS for edge and remote offices
The Synology RS826+ is a 1U rackmount network-attached storage server built for edge locations, remote offices and growing business environments. It uses a 2.2 GHz AMD Ryzen V1500B four-core, eight-thread processor and ships with 4GB DDR4 ECC memory. Four drive bays hold 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs.
Four 1GbE ports and a PCIe Gen3 slot for network
Four integrated 10/100/1000M RJ-45 ports support Link Aggregation for load balancing and automatic failover. A PCIe Gen3 expansion slot accepts compatible 10GbE or 25GbE adapters when bandwidth needs increase. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports provide direct-attached peripheral connectivity. The unit operates on 100-240 VAC power.
Pre-installed cache and drives ready for immediate
This unit arrives fully assembled and tested with 1.6TB of Synology Enterprise cache (2 x 800GB) and four 12TB Synology Plus NAS drives for 48TB total raw capacity. The pre-configured storage and cache eliminate initial setup time. Web-based management and DHCP client support simplify network integration.
