The TP-Link Archer BE800 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 wireless router that delivers up to 19 Gbps combined wireless speed across 2.4 GHz, 5.0 GHz and 6.0 GHz bands. It provides four spatial streams on each band and supports Multi-Link Operation to increase throughput and reduce latency. The unit includes dual 10 Gbps ports, four 2.5 Gbps LAN ports, a USB port and TP-Link HomeShield security with WPA3 encryption. It is managed through the Tether app and works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Homes that need maximum wireless capacity

This router suits households running 4K or 8K streaming, AR/VR gaming and large file transfers that demand the highest available Wi-Fi 7 performance and multi-gigabit wired links. Buyers whose internet plan does not exceed 1 Gbps or who do not own Wi-Fi 7 client devices will not benefit from the extra wireless capacity and 10 Gbps Ethernet interfaces. Users requiring an integrated modem or a mesh satellite system should consider other product types.

Dual 10 Gbps WAN/LAN ports

Two dedicated 10 Gbps Ethernet ports — one combo WAN/LAN and one WAN/LAN — provide the wired backbone for multi-gigabit fibre or LAN connections. Four additional 2.5 Gbps LAN ports support high-speed clients and switches. If your incoming line and local network operate at 1 Gbps or below, these 10 Gbps ports will remain under-utilised.
