The Tripp Lite SmartOnline SU3000RTXLCD2U is a 3000VA, 2700W double-conversion UPS that delivers continuous 120V sine-wave power. It installs in a 2U rack or tower and ships with a NEMA L5-30P input plug. The unit provides seven NEMA outlets and hot-swappable VRLA batteries for zero-downtime maintenance.
Who this suits; who should look elsewhere
This UPS fits servers, network gear and critical workstations that require pure sine-wave output and isolation from line noise. An SNMP card slot enables remote monitoring and automated shutdowns via USB, RS-232 or contact closure. It is not suited for loads exceeding 2700W or environments outside the 0 °C to 40 °C operating range.
Runtime at load determines deployment
At full 2700W load the batteries last 4.8 minutes; at 1350W half load they run for 13.9 minutes. Recharge to 90 % capacity takes three hours. These figures decide whether the unit covers the outage window your equipment needs before generators start or graceful shutdown completes.
