140 mm dust filter grills

These aluminium-framed grills fit standard 140 mm case fans with 125 mm mounting-hole spacing. They are designed for builders who want to reduce dust intake without replacing existing fans. The ultra-fine stainless-steel mesh blocks particles while maintaining airflow. Two grills and eight screws are supplied; fans are not included.

Installing the filters

Each grill mounts directly over a 140 mm fan or vent using the included screws that match the 125 mm hole pattern. The 0.6 mm thick aluminium frame stiffens to 1.5 mm overall, so it resists bending during fitting. The wavy 24# stainless mesh can be washed with water and reused, simplifying long-term maintenance. No special tools are required beyond a standard screwdriver.
