64 GB DDR4 ECC Registered kit for HP Z840

This 64 GB kit contains two 32 GB DDR4 2400 MHz registered DIMMs with ECC and a CL17 timing. It is built for the HP Compaq Workstation Z840 and runs at 1.2 V on major-brand chipsets. The modules are unbuffered by a heat spreader and use a 2Rx4 organisation.

The Z840 supports up to 512 GB of registered ECC RDIMMs across 16 slots when two CPUs are installed. Adding this kit increases capacity while keeping the registered ECC topology the platform requires. If the installed processor only supports 1866 MHz the memory will clock down automatically to match the CPU capability.
