This 8GB DDR3L registered DIMM is built for Supermicro A+ Server series 2022TC, 2022TG, 4022G and 4042G. It delivers ECC error correction and registered signalling for stable operation in workstations, servers, NAS systems and routers. The module runs at 1600MHz with CL11 latency and 1.35V. It will not work in standard desktop computers and cannot be mixed with unbuffered memory.

The upgrade consists of one 8GB stick, so you add capacity in exact 8GB increments without populating extra slots. No heat spreader is fitted, keeping the profile low for dense server chassis. DDR3L Platform Limits

The DDR3L interface tops out at 1600MHz and 1.35V, so bandwidth and capacity per module are capped by the memory controller of the supported Supermicro platforms. Registered signalling adds a clock cycle of latency compared with unbuffered DIMMs, which is normal for server workloads but makes this memory unsuitable for any system that requires unbuffered modules. Buyers needing higher speeds, lower voltage or unbuffered operation must choose a different platform.
