Patriot Burst Elite 480GB SATA SSD
The Patriot Burst Elite is a 2.5 inch internal solid state drive with 480GB of capacity. It uses a SATA III interface and TLC memory components for consumer workloads. The drive fits standard laptop and desktop bays that accept a 7.00mm z-height. No DRAM cache is present; the controller relies on Host Memory Buffer.
DRAM-less design with HMB and 7mm height
The DRAM-less architecture uses Host Memory Buffer to maintain responsive performance while keeping power draw low. A 7.00mm profile allows installation in thin ultrabooks as well as conventional 2.5 inch drive cages.
