Fourteen cores per socket give 28 threads total, aimed at databases, VDI and HPC data nodes. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR4 ECC memory occupy four of the 24 available slots, leaving room to grow to 1.5 TB.

PERC H730 controller and quad-port networking

A PERC H730 1 GB cache controller provides RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through for the two installed 400 GB SATA SSDs.
