This 128GB kit contains four 32GB DDR5 ECC registered DIMMs built for the Dell PowerEdge XE9680. Each module runs at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency at 1.1V. The 2Rx8 organisation and 288-pin form factor match the server's memory slots exactly.

128GB capacity for multi-socket workloads

Four ranked modules give the XE9680 enough DRAM for large virtualisation hosts, in-memory databases or GPU-accelerated training jobs. The registered buffer and on-die ECC keep data integrity intact under sustained load. Workloads that exceed 128GB per CPU socket will need higher-density DIMMs or additional memory channels.

Replaces factory DDR5 RDIMMs or expands empty slots

The kit upgrades from lower-capacity DDR5 registered memory already qualified for the XE9680. It cannot be mixed with unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs, so buyers replacing mixed populations must swap all modules. The jump is worth it when ECC registered capacity is the bottleneck.
