This G.SKILL Ripjaws V kit provides 16GB of DDR4 desktop memory in a matched dual-channel pair of 8GB modules. It runs at DDR4 3200 with CL16 latency and 1.35V. The black aluminum heatspreader is 42mm tall. Intel XMP 2.0 is supported for automatic configuration on compatible platforms.
This kit suits builders targeting Intel Z170, Z270, Z370, Z390, Z490, Z590, Z690 DDR4 or Z790 DDR4 chipsets and AMD B450, B550, X470 or X570 chipsets. It is unbuffered non-ECC memory, so it is not intended for server or workstation platforms that require registered or ECC DIMMs. Do not mix this kit with other memory kits.
Before ordering, confirm your motherboard accepts DDR4 288-pin DIMMs and supports the desired speed. Check that your CPU cooler allows at least 42mm of module height for the heatspreader. Ensure the board can supply 1.35V and that you populate the correct slots for dual-channel operation.
