It uses an LSI SandForce controller customized for Kingston and delivers maximum sequential read and write speeds of 450 MB/s. The drive is designed for consumer notebooks and desktops that accept a 7mm or 9.5mm height drive.

This SSD replaces a mechanical 7200RPM hard drive and is rated as up to 10x faster in typical use.
