Z790 ATX board for LGA 1700 CPUs

The ASRock Z790 PRO RS WIFI is an ATX motherboard built around the Intel Z790 chipset and LGA 1700 socket. It supports 12th, 13th and 14th generation Intel Core processors with hybrid architecture, Turbo Boost Max 3.0 and Thermal Velocity Boost. A 14+1+1 Dr.MOS power phase design with enlarged heatsink armour delivers stable current for high-core-count CPUs.

Four DDR5 slots, four Gen4 M.2 sockets.

Four 288-pin DDR5 slots accept non-ECC un-buffered memory up to 128 GB with XMP 3.0 profiles reaching 6800 MHz when overclocked. Four Hyper M.2 sockets (two CPU-attached, two chipset-attached) each take 2260 or 2280 NVMe drives at PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds. The Dragon RTL8125BG controller provides 2.5 Gb/s wired LAN with bandwidth-control software, while integrated WiFi 6E and Bluetooth handle wireless connectivity.

The Realtek ALC897 codec drives 7.1-channel HD audio enhanced by Nahimic processing. Eight SATA 6 Gb/s ports support RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 for hard drives or SATA SSDs. A full-size PCIe 5.0 x16 slot carries the primary graphics card, a second PCIe 4.0 x16 slot runs at x4 for add-in cards, and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots round out expansion. Rear I/O includes HDMI, DisplayPort and eDP video outputs for integrated graphics.
