8-Channel 4K PoE NVR

The Camius IPVAULT1128PR is an 8-channel network video recorder with eight built-in PoE ports and a pre-installed 3 TB hard drive. It supports H.264, H.265, H.264+ and H.265+ compression at up to 128 Mbps recording bandwidth. Remote access is provided through VMS software for Windows and Mac, web-browser viewing, and the Camius View app for iOS and Android. The unit includes a 48 V power adaptor, HDMI cable, network cable and USB mouse.

Installation checklist

Verify that each IP camera you plan to connect uses a standard RJ-45 Ethernet cable and draws no more than 802.3af power per port. The eight PoE ports are optimised for Camius cameras; non-Camius models may require an external PoE switch to join the system. Ensure the mounting location stays within the 0 °C to 40 °C operating range and below 90 % relative humidity. Confirm your monitor or TV accepts either 4K HDMI or 1080P VGA input for live view.

Storage and camera upgrade path

The installed 3 TB drive can be replaced with a single drive up to 10 TB using the HDD health-checking feature to monitor condition.
