Dense Storage and I/O Layout

Ten SATA 3.0 ports combine six standard connectors with four additional SSATA connections for high drive counts. Dual M.2 slots provide one 22110 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 interface at 32 Gb/s and one 2280 slot that shares an SSATA lane with SATA. Rear I/O supplies four USB 2.0 four USB 3.0 two Gigabit Ethernet ports and six 3.5 mm audio jacks for 7.1 surround sound. Internal headers add one 9-pin USB 2.0 one 19-pin USB 3.0 and front-panel audio.

Expansion Focused on Compute Density

Three full-length PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots allow multiple GPU or accelerator cards for rendering or compute workloads. The M.2 implementation requires attention because the 2280 slot consumes an SSATA signal when populated. No wireless or Bluetooth hardware is included on the board.
