The drive idles at 0.76 W and draws up to 5.3 W under load, limiting thermal output inside tight chassis. The bundled heatsink spreads heat across the controller and NAND, keeping sustained sequential reads of 4800 MBps and writes of 4200 MBps stable without throttling or audible fan noise.

Firmware features extend endurance

TRIM, garbage collection, over-provisioning, host memory buffer mode and ECC operate automatically to maintain write performance and protect data across the 1200 TBW rating.
