The Pimoroni PIM485 Pirate Audio Speaker is a fully-assembled mini HAT-format development board that adds mono audio and a colour display to a Raspberry Pi. The ST7789-driven IPS LCD measures 1.3 inches at 240 by 240 pixels and shows album art or simple graphics. Builders needing louder sound or stereo output must add external amplification beyond this board.

Mini HAT footprint with push-fit speaker terminals

The board sits directly on the Raspberry Pi GPIO header in mini HAT format, requiring no soldering for the core functions.
