This dock accepts two standard SATA hard drives or SSDs simultaneously. It supports drives up to 10TB and connects via USB 3.0 for plug-and-play operation without driver installation. Offline cloning between bays is available at up to 60Mbps.
USB 3.0 interface caps transfer at 5Gbps
The external USB 3.0 link limits sustained throughput to 5Gbps, falling back to 480Mbps on USB 2.0 and 12Mbps on USB 1.1. Internal SATA I/II/III drives will not exceed this ceiling, so cloning and bulk copies run at the USB bottleneck.
