4GB DDR3 SODIMM for Acer Aspire

This 4GB DDR3-1333 SODIMM module is built for the Acer Aspire V5-551-7850, V5-551-8401 and V5-571-6119. It uses a 204-pin unbuffered design with CL7 timing and operates at 1.5V. The kit contains a single stick for a straightforward memory upgrade.

DDR3-1333 speed ceiling

The module runs at PC3-10600 speeds, so the memory bus cannot exceed 1333 MHz regardless of the processor. CAS latency is fixed at 7-7-7, limiting how quickly the controller can access each column. Systems that only support lower DDR3 speeds will downclock the stick automatically.

4GB stick in a two-slot platform

Each laptop accepts two SODIMMs and tops out at 8GB total. A single 4GB module leaves one slot free for a matching stick to reach the maximum. Installing more than 8GB is not possible on these models, and a second stick is required for dual-channel bandwidth.
