The Defender Sentinel Pro Turret system includes an 8-channel network video recorder with a pre-installed 1 TB hard drive and four IP turret cameras. It records at up to 25 FPS in 8 MP resolution using H.265 or H.264 compression. The kit is designed for homeowners who want a complete wired surveillance setup with local storage and remote viewing through the Defender Empower app.

PoE Wiring Limits and App Exclusivity

Each camera connects via a single RJ-45 cable that carries power, video and audio, simplifying installation but restricting cable runs to standard Ethernet distance limits. The NVR provides eight PoE ports, so four channels remain available for future expansion. The system works only with the Defender Empower mobile app and web portal; it cannot be paired with other Defender apps or third-party platforms beyond ONVIF profile support.

IP66 Metal Turrets with Colour Night Vision

The cameras are constructed from aluminium and carry an IP66 rating, making them suitable for outdoor mounting in rain or dust.
