The DEKCO DC9L-1P is a wireless outdoor security camera that rotates horizontally through 360 degrees to eliminate blind spots. It connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and is powered by a built-in battery charged by an integrated solar panel. The camera targets homeowners who want flexible placement without wiring and who need full panoramic surveillance of gardens, driveways or entrances.

Solar Power and App Control

A few hours of direct sunlight keep the battery running day and night, removing the need for mains wiring or frequent recharging. The Dekco app, available on App Store and Google Play, handles live view, motion alerts, two-way talk and smart playback. Local recording requires a microSD card; there are no subscription fees for any feature, and the camera integrates with Amazon Alexa for voice commands.

2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Event Recording

The camera only supports 2.4 GHz networks, so it will not join a 5 GHz band. Recording is triggered by detected motion rather than running continuously, which conserves battery and storage but means gaps can occur if movement is missed. Auto-tracking follows people when enabled, yet it is off by default and must be activated manually. The IP65 rating protects against rain and dust, but the device is not submersible.
