Precision T5820 Xeon workstation

This Dell Precision 5820 tower is a new business workstation built around an Intel Xeon W-2125 four-core processor running at 4.0 GHz with a 4.5 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16 GB of registered ECC DDR4 2666 memory across two modules and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive. The Nvidia Quadro P5000 graphics card provides 16 GB of GDDR5X video memory and four DisplayPort outputs. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed and digitally activated.

DDR4 2666 ECC memory limits

The system uses registered ECC DDR4 2666 modules and offers eight DIMM slots with a maximum supported capacity of 256 GB. Memory must match the DDR4 2666 specification; other DDR generations will not fit or function. The Xeon W-2125 processor and LGA 2066 platform define this memory ceiling, so configurations requiring more than 256 GB cannot be accommodated by this chassis.

Quadro P5000 16 GB GDDR5X fit

The installed Quadro P5000 is a 16 GB GDDR5X card with a 256-bit interface and four DisplayPort connectors, powered by the included 950 W 80 Plus Gold supply. Workloads that demand more than 16 GB of video memory or a different GPU architecture will need a different graphics card, as this unit ships with the P5000 as its sole discrete GPU.
